The True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order: An Interpretation of the Rosicrucian Allegory & An Explanation of the Ten Rosicrucian Grades
by Paul Foster Case
from Red Wheel / Weiser
This is a thorough presentatio of the Rosicrucian system of Initiation by Dr. Paul Foster Case. He explains that Rosicrucianism is based upon earthly organizations, but on personal unflodment, and clearly describes the distinctive marks of a Rosicrucian. The treatise is divided into two main parts by Dr. Case. The first is a careful examination and interpretation of the principle Rosicrucian maneifestos, the Fama Fraternitatis and the Confessio Fraternitatis. The second part is an explanation of the Rosicrucian Grade system, as applied to the diagram of the Tree of Life and Tarot attributions. By participating in the outlined procedures, aspirants are put on the right track of preparing themselves for union with the Higher Self, which may or may not include group work with an outer order or fraternity. The first editions of 1927, 1928 and 1933 were of limited publication. THe fourth and most complete expansion of the text by Paul Case ws finished in 1937, revised by him in 1953 just before his death , and published in hardcover by Weiser in 1985. It represents the full maturity of his thought on this subject.

Custodians Of Truth: The Continuance Of Rex Deus
by Tim Wallace-Murphy
from Weiser Books
A curious thing happened to Tim Wallace-Murphy and Marilyn Hopkins when they published Rex Deus, their first book on the bloodline of Christ: they were contacted by a man from the very lineage they were studying. And instead of denying the existence of the bloodline or berating them for revealing secrets, he actually confirmed that the Rex Deus lineage exists and even disclosed some of its fundamental secrets.
The story of the Rex Deus families, direct descendents of Christ--who is believed to have survived the crucifixion--turns out to be much more extensive than the authors first thought. Instead of beginning during the time of Jesus, it stretches far back into antiquity, to the Egyptian Mystery Schools. Instead of being only a propagation of the holy bloodline, the Rex Deus families are also carriers of the secret teachings of Jesus.
Custodians of Truth reveals the purpose and secrets of the Rex Deus lineage. Jesus was not only a holy man, but an adept of ancient knowledge, which informed his own teachings. This secret knowledge was suppressed by the Church in their voracious quest for power and influence in the secular world. These teachings have manifested throughout history in different forms--Gnostic philosophy around the time of Jesus, the Order of the Knights Templar, Freemasons, and the current resurgence of interest in New Age thought. Finally, the time is right for the hidden message of Jesus to be revealed--a message of tolerance, brotherhood, and respect for nature.

Man the Grand Symbol of the Mysteries
by Manly P. Hall
from Kessinger Publishing, LLC
1932. In this work can be found gems of thought in occult anatomy by Hall, the American philosopher. In over a period of 20 years of dynamic public activity, Hall has steadfastly sought recognition of the belief that world civilization can only be perfected when human beings meet on a common ground of intelligence, cooperation and worthy purpose. In this volume he asserts that science has not been fair, just, nor equitable in its examination of metaphysics. It has not been scientific in its examinations. It has reasoned from prejudices rather than from available data. Mysticism is not a vagary; it is a distinct department of learning which, if given proper consideration and opportunity, could make a definite contribution to normalcy and well-being. And so, a book on occult anatomy. Convinced of immortality, the sages of antiquity viewed the human body as not the man but as the house of the man. The science of the soul occupied first place. The masters of three Academies often pointed out some analogy in human organ or function in justifying an abstract conclusion. Previously, the anatomy of philosophers had existed in a fragmentary state. Now they are gathered and reduced to order brilliant gems of thought on an engrossing theme, the mystical lore of the human body. See other titles by this author available from Kessinger Publishing.
The Rosicrucian Enlightenment (Routledge Classics)
by Frances A Yates
from Routledge
"No one has done more than she to recreate, from unexpected material, the intellectual life of past ages. It is DrYates's great achievement to identify the ideas and, by delicate scholarship and profound study of symbolism, to provide them with a pedigree and a home. A brilliant and exciting book." -- Hugh Trevor-Roper, The Sunday Times

The Key of the Mysteries
by Eliphas Lvi
from Red Wheel / Weiser
Eliphas Lvi was steeped in the Western occult tradition and a master of the Rosicrucian interpretation of the Qabalah, which forms the basis of magic as practiced in the West today. The Key of the Mysteries represents the culmination of Lvi\'s thoughts and is written with subtle and delicate irony. It reveals the mysteries of religion and the secrets of the Qabalah, providing a sketch of the prophetic theology of numbers. The mysteries of nature, such as spiritualism and fluidic phantoms, are explored. Magical mysteries, the Theory of the Will with its 22 axioms are divulged. And finally it offers "the great practical secrets." The true greatness of this work, however, lies in its ability to place occult thought firmly in Western religious traditions. For Lvi, the study of the occult was the study of a divine science, the mathematics of God.
